Aleksandra Venditti

I am from Warsaw, but I have spent most of my adulthood gaining experience in the United Kingdom. There I studied "BSc Financial Mathematics" in London and then "MSc Operational Research with Data Science" in Edinburgh. In Scotland, I started my career in the financial sector at NatWest Group. I worked in several units of the Data & Analytics department, which helped me gain various knowledge in the field of data analysis and practical knowledge of banking. Now I focus on the practical application of Data Science methods to build solutions for detecting financial crimes. Beyond data science, I get involved in supporting women in achieving their goals related to learning and working in STEM roles. I am a big advocate of addressing the gender gap in tech. I like to spend my free time actively cycling or playing volleyball, but I also don't mind an evening on the couch with Netflix!
