Bincy Thomas

With over 6 years of work experience in different domains within Cyber security, Bincy is a Cyber Security Consultant responsible for monitoring and maintaining key systems that help prevent data leaks and breaches at Hitachi Vantara. As part of work, Bincy has developed new rules and configured policies in different security tools to minimize false positives and optimize the performance of the platforms​.

Bincy started her career as a Security Analyst in a Security Operations Center, where she analysed and investigated threats and attacks and eventually turned to an expert in various Microsoft security services. Close collaboration and working relationships support Bincy to work with other security professionals, and legal personnel to respond to alerts, including blocking bad behaviour, and reporting policy violations​. Bincy keeps herself updated with all the latest advancements in Cyber security field and spends her weekends in attending classes for completing Master’s degree.

Outside of work, Bincy loves to spend time with family and friends, exploring new places, enjoying food and loves capturing moments on camera.
