Zofia Łakomiak

Zofia Lakomiak is a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Development Center Poland, where she works on enhancing Alexa Text-To-Speech. Zofia's team focuses on integrating machine learning models which utilise conversation context to adapt Alexa's speech to sound more relevant, expressive and human-like. Besides implementing new features, her day-to-day work includes using Amazon Web Services cloud for services she's developing. Zofia is also a member of Amazon Women in Engineering organisation in Gdansk. She was a mentor and instructor during last edition of Girls Do Engineering, an initiative created by Amazon Development Center Poland, to practice students' hard and soft skills as well as strengthen their self-esteem and motivation for development.
