Klaudia Krawiecka, a security engineer at Meta, holds a doctoral degree from the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at the University of Oxford, which she completed in 2022. Her research focus during her doctorate revolved around harnessing the diversity of IoT devices to safeguard smart environments. Alongside her studies, Klaudia's exceptional work garnered prestigious recognition, including the (ISC)² Women's Cyber Security and Google Women Techmakers awards.
In 2017, Klaudia graduated from the NordSecMob program, earning a Master's degree in Security and Mobile Computing from Aalto University and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. During her tenure, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Secure Systems Group at Aalto University.
Klaudia's Master's thesis project 'SafeKeeper' gained notable acclaim, receiving three esteemed awards from the Finnish Information Security Association, the Finnish Computer Science Society, and Aalto University.
Beyond her academic work, Klaudia demonstrated her commitment to empowering women in computer science. She held the position of President of the Oxford Women in Computer Science Society during her time at the University of Oxford. In recognition of her endeavours to support women in STEM disciplines, Klaudia was honored as one of the Top 100 Women in 2020 by Forbes Women Polska.
