Katarzyna Walczyk

She has over 15 years of experience in policymaking at EU level in the fields of research and innovation, EU funded projects and gender aspects reflected as Deputy Director of NCP Poland, Polish Delegate to Programme Committees at the European Commission and member of various Advisory Boards of EU initiatives e.g.: ERA-LEARN. Her expertise covers national, EU and international R&I funding programmes as Horizon Europe or FENG, research and innovation management, start-ups and innovation coaching. She coordinated projects of 20 M Euros, and participated in over 50 national or EU actions, currently leading the Innovation Coach in the IPPT PAN. Active also in the Polish NGOs sector, pioneer in raising awareness on gender dimension in R&I and founder of the Polish Community of Practice on Gender and GEPs. Her international education includes i.a.: Stanford University, Palo Alto in California and Johannes Guttenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
