Katarzyna Okulska-Gawlik

Katarzyna Okulska-Gawlik – graduate of Warsaw University of Technology in the field of Aerospace Engineering. Her space-industry adventure has started by working in SENER, firstly as design engineer responsible mainly for structural analysis and performing vibration tests. She was working on deployment and hold-down and release mechanisms for missions SAOCOM and PROBA-3. After that, she changed a position for being a project manager. Now she’s working with the technology development projects for ATHENA mission, she’s also running Poland's first project related to series production for space industry (ONESAT mission) and managing multidiscipline project which is connected to design, manufacturing, integration and test of complete flight model of medium gain antenna for ARIEL mission. In her free time, she is a big fan of RPG games, creating costumes and Irish dancing.
