Monika Żyra

Monika is a Software Engineering Manager at Dell Technologies with 16 years of experience in the engineering sector. She graduated from Gdańsk University of Technology from the faculty of Electronics, Telecommunication and Informatics. She worked for the great companies like Adva Optical Networking, Dynatrace, Intel and since 2022 she has been a member of the R&D Poland leadership team. She has spent 11 years in technical roles related to software development, software validation and system tests and 5 years in managerial positions — leading engineering teams and managing projects. Recently she was mostly focused on building the high performing teams — she is strong believer in the strengths-based culture, teamwork and open communication. Privately, she is a frequent traveler passionate about dancing (recently mostly Cuban salsa) and a winter swimmer (a member of Sopot Walrus Club).
