Zaid Al-Kurdi

Zaid Al-Kurdi is a Security Solutions Architect in the Customer Delivery team at Cisco Poland. He has a decade of experience in the CyberSecurity field. He is a passionate advocate of Zero-Trust and applying Security best practices to secure customer environments. He mainly works with large scale projects and customers to translate business needs into technological solution. Some customers he has worked with are FIFA World Cup 2022, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Dubai Expo and Lufthansa

Apart from his core responsibility, Zaid is an experienced presenter, trainer, and public speaker. He provides many trainings, labs, bootcamps and webinars for customers, partners, and internal Cisco Employees. He has presented many times at the prestigious Cisco Live Conferences where he was awarded the title of “Distinguished Speaker”. He is also a published author with many public documents, presentations, and articles.

Zaid holds a CCIE Certificate in Security, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certificate & has a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering. Outside of work, he loves to travel, read up about technology and play with boardgames puzzles, puzzle boxes, Escape rooms and riddles.
