Author of the website JaninaDaily.com and the bestselling popular science book "Statistically speaking. How much chocolate do you have to eat to win a Nobel Prize," which has sold 120,000 copies. She teaches people that statistics can and should be befriended. But there are some statistics she doesn't want to befriend: mainly those related to mental health and the situation of LGBTQ+ people. For her activist works on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community, she received the "Crown of Equality" award from the Campaign Against Homophobia, the "Influencer of the Year" award from Wprost magazine, as well as being included in Newsweek magazine's list of the "100 most influential Polish women and men." In 2020, she gave an interview titled "I have 58 self-inflicted scars" in which she confessed that she has suffered from Bipolar Affective Disorder since the age of 18.
