Monika Dyrda

Monika is an experienced software developer, data engineer and cloud architect. In her daily work at Roche, she combines her deep passion for cutting edge technology and life science. Monika worked on a cloud solution for remote patients monitoring. This platform stores, processes and serves petabytes of data to scientists looking for medicines that fight neurodegenerative diseases like MS or SMA. Additionally, she teaches the cloud to scientists and enables them to use its high-performance computing to gain deeper insight from medical data. Currently she is a technical lead of a data engineering team providing technical guidance, strategic IT input for the product line and implementing data mesh concept on her favorite cloud data platform - Snowflake. Moreover, she enjoys supporting women in tech careers as a mentor and tech leader. Outside of work she is an avid traveler and a loving mom.
