Ute Bünker

Ute, born and raised in Germany, is Head of Global Projects at Continental Group IT. In her role, Ute is responsible for large-scale projects within Group IT with scope across Business Areas and countries. Ute, who holds a Master’s degree in International Business Studies, has only started to work in IT since the beginning of 2022. For the first four years of her professional career, Ute was employed in the Corporate Finance division of a Big4 company with focus on tasks related to “Mergers & Acquisitions”, such as business valuations and due diligence reports. After that, Ute was a Business Planning Manager in the European headquarters of a Japanese multinational corporation, mainly focusing on strategy execution. In 2016, Ute joined Continental’s Inhouse Consulting where she was part of the project management team of several large-scale projects, such as the Spin-Off of a group division of Continental as well as the creation of a Joint Venture. Furthermore, Ute was responsible for the development of a new approach for Portfolio Management for the Continental Group. In her free time, Ute enjoys travelling, running, and playing golf.
